Planning to fish the Markland Dam from shore (in search of sauger) soon. Anyone know of any bait/tackle shops in the area. Planning to fish the indiana side below the dam. Willing to travel a couple of miles to find some minnows and crawlers. Indiana, or Ky will be fine. Thanks in advance for the HOOK-up.

There is a bait shop next to the Shell station right by the dam on the Indiana side. He has irregular hours. He used to just be open on Fridays and the weekends, but the last couple of times I've been past he has been open during the week.
Thanx for the info on the bait shop. I'll be headed that way next month. Hope he's open when I get there or the white twister tail jigs will have to do.
