A buddy and I spent 10 hrs. on Monroe yesterday bass/striper fishing. It was cold to start out the morning, but warmed up nicely. Pretty slow overall, but we did manage to catch four keeper bass (and about 10 shorts) and two stripers that both went about 5-6 lbs. I think the water needs to cool down some more before the bite gets really good....it was still in the upper 60's by the end of the day. Lots of boats out....maybe they caught them better?!?!?!?
