All boaters and fisher persons be duly warned. Knute and I will be at Mcalpine on 10/28/2010.
I'm also waiting on onemorecast56 to get in touch with me for the Friday night smackdown.
I've been practicing in the yard on the technique to throw a cast-net. Sometimes it opens fine, sometimes it doesn't. Hopefully I'll catch some shad or skips and then try for hybrids and/or cats and not throw myself overboard in the process.
Not to worry, we generally practice catch and release so there will be some fish left for you. I will keep some smaller cats if I'm in the mood; nothing over 4 pounds. Now, if I could only teach and convince Mrs. Tyme to clean my catch!!!

I think it's 6 feet. It's about as tall as I am (5' 10") from the throat of the net to the ground.
Sorry for the delay Tyme, I wanted to tell you that we used to tear up the skippys (in front of the hydro) throwing a small castmaster with a white bucktail, fast retrieve, keeping it as close to the surface as we could. I hope you tore 'em up!
We want jax salmon
