Put in @ Moutardier @ 7:30am....water temps 65 degrees with good clarity....wind was howling! Headed up lake, but didn't make it far past the marina there when I noticed some jumps taking place midlake in the white capped water. Threw rattletraps at the jumps for the first 45min and managed three nice whites...very healthy looking fish. Decided I was wasting to much time on the whites, since I only had a couple hours to fish, so I headed further up lake toward Dog Creek....fished two coves off the mainlake on the way up, coves with timber, and managed a nice keeper lm 17" on a crawcrank in 4ft of water. Went into Dog Creek and went to the back in 3-4ft of water and managed 3 more shorties on a rattletrap....Had to split....water temp was 66 when I left. Lots of shad popping in Dog Creek with some being chased. Sure was windy!
