If you are currently a member of the Kentucky Conservation Coalition, thank you for joining. Please share this e-mail with other outdoorsmen and women. To join the KCC and its many partners, including The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources, please sign up for this FREE service by clicking here http://www.kycoalition.org.

You are cordially invited to attend a public “Town Hall” meeting sponsored by the Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Commission and the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources. The meeting schedules and locations are attached.

One of our primary goals in the Department’s Five Year Strategic Plan is to strive toward a “more informed and involved public”. These meetings represent another way in which the Commission and KDFWR are able to improve public understanding of conservation and stewardship for our natural resources. The Department hopes to increase public awareness of programs and opportunities, and enlist support and customer involvement in fish and wildlife management.

In addition to your District Commission Member, Commissioner Jon Gassett along with his Executive Staff will be attending these meetings to provide updates, answer questions, and discuss issues of interest to hunters, anglers, trappers, boaters and other wildlife/outdoor enthusiasts.

We hope to see you at the meeting closest to you.

    Re: KDFWR Town hall meeting's

I will be attending the Ky Dam Convention Center event. Getting the younger population, and unfortunately some of the older population, to understand the purpose of resource conservation will provide a solid foundation to the satisfaction of knowing that our future generations will be able to enjoy the same activities that our lives are built upon today.
