Have not heard a REAL PRESIDENT for quite some time.

You know Geo, I have to agree. I thought the man was quite frank, honest, didn't mince words or try to spin, and was very quick to take blame for things that he admitted were mistakes. He never blamed anyone else, and when asked point questions about who's fault certain things were....I loved the "It was always my fault - I was the President" answer. I don't think he ever claimed to be perfect or superhuman during his Presidency...I always kind of found him to be a "Regular Joe" type President with "Regular Joe" type vices. I think that was his initial appeal to the American public, before the tide got turned against him. He made some mistakes, just like you or I would make, and was man enough in the interview to own them completely.

Enjoyable interview. I will read the book.

Sorry I missed it! I read some of the interview and of course the Kanye West part disgusted me. It brings up the old favorite word of Black people when they want to toss bombs.

Said he was told that if it didnt happen we would enter a 3rd depression, dont know where he got that from. I missed seeing the interview also...I read Sarah Palins book...I might get George's book and it read too, don't know yet.

In regards to this (sort of), local news this morning was interviewing people on the streets at random what they thought about George and him coming out with this book, etc...well, wouldn't you know it, one of the folks was a black gentleman who made no bones about his dislike for George W. and the mess our country is in today because of him.

I wouldn't mind having the local news interview me sometime in regards to what I think about Nobama. I'd probably have as many negative things to say about Nobama as this black gentlmen had to say for George W....the only different twist I would put on it is that instead of looking at the reporter as I spoke, I would look directly at the camera.

Didn't mean to get off the subject matter...admin. please delete this post if you want to...I just have a true disrespect for the present POTUS and try to take a jab at them every chance I can.

I was against it and still am. I don't agree with everything anyone does, much less a potus...do you?? Take obamy for example you happy with him and everything he did?? If you say yes then enjoy the koolaid.

I have written several times and deleted all of them except this one. You and I have no idea what the poor go through everyday. The difference between you and I is I care about what happens to them and a republican says he dont, which I dont really believe. We both care but why do some hate Medicare, Social Security, Medicaid and Health Care that we all rely on? I am confused.

Btw.... I'm an independant but registered as repub so I could vote in Kentucky.... First time ever being associated with either party.

In a nutshell I'm for people being responsible for their actions. I'm for free loaders pulling their weight or drop em like a bad habit. I'm for gubment to be responsible and accountable with our money or vote em out. I'm for taking care of Americans first and not worrying about the world. I'm for gubment to stop being so intrusive into our lives......and on and on.

I think this healthcare law was a mistake and as the details unfold we will all see it for what it was. Remember the reports of pelosi and others who never read the bill but voted for it?? That bothered me and it should bother you.
It's all gonna boil down to more money from you and I and it will always need more because nothing the gubment does stays within budgets. There were many approaches to handling the healthcare problem but the whole bill became political and had little to nothing to do with the majority of Americans.

Thats what im saying. If you let the big industry and banks fail what do you think would happen? Alot of working poor would be without jobs not to mention the middle class. If all that was predicted by GWB and Obama had come true we would be in a depression right now. We would all be poor imo.

By far the worst public speaking president of my lifetime, so far.

Oh yeah not to mention he got us into a never ending war based on a lie that Iraq had WMD'S. Now we have more enemies then we started with and over 3,000 of U.S, and way more of them have died battling to force our charity of democracy onto others.

If yall are satisfied with illegitimate people like him running the country. From the school league of communism---(IVY LEAGUE) Yale, and the Skull and Bones satanic rituals.

Then God help us all cause were screwed!

A real president.....I think the last one this country had was JFK. Before my time, but from what I've read and seen video archives of, I'd say to me he represents the standard of real president policy.
