When I was down there last week most all the fellas I talked to where fishing for walleye. Most had said numbers weren't as good as they would like but the ones they where catching where pretty good size. Know it's not sauger but...
Tim, I haven't been this year, BUT water temps are a dropping and COE are jacking up the fow due to recent rains. All the right conditions for some good saugar/walleye fishing below Wolf Creek Dam. All you got to do is "point that truck South".

This spring i caught more sauger than I did walleyes. Not that I target either one of them I'm looking for the "big brown'. Think the water temps. 61dg still, on the river mught be slowing them down still yet. To answer your question I'd say yes there still out there according to the local guys I work with In jamestown. Timing is every thing when fish begin to run. Every year is differant and its differant every year.
