We're getting ready seven months in advanced for a huge kayak fishing tournament with big prizes! I will also be hosting KYs first Kayak Festival the Saturday before. Dates: June 4 & 5, 2011. There will be live music with a Blues Band, kayak demos and lessons, fly fishing casting and tying demos/lessons, fun races for kids and paddlers of all kinds. Is the tourney in May or June? On the website under events it is listed as June, but when you click on the registration page it says 2011 -05 -01. Just wondering not sure I can make it yet, but if it is in June I have a chance to if its May no chance at all.

I will have kayak clinics and lessons, demos, fun races to develop your skills, sprint and long distance races, blues band, food vendors and more. I was thinking the same thing.Last night i found another up north in Mi.I got my feet wet running tournaments for NBAA & ABA.Because of the last years Rain,Accidents and sold my Triton have gone Green.These kind of tournments should be a blast.I plan on making it too this event.

No just getting ready to get my kayak sometime after the holidays. Been doing a lot of wade fishing and fell in love with it!!

Glad to read that some of you are interested in this kayak tournament. I am getting awesome prizes. For example...$450.00 worth of stuff from Hobie kayaks.
