Not even a hint of some type of pattern?

Fished the Sat morning tournament on Rough River. Had a limit in the first 45mins. Thet were hitting about anything you threw at them. Had over 12lbs and didn't even break the top 3. Every boat in tournament had a limit. Smallest was 10.19 to the largest over 16lbs. Went back out after the tournament was over and had another limit within an hour. I got over 20 keepers not counting about 50 slot fish and can't wait to get back down there. This Sat.s tournament should be great!

Got so bored catching , i went sauger fish on the ohio today .
Are they shallow or deep, Im thinking of heading down Wednesday.
Someone must have put the fire out. I fished Rough Sunday and caught 2 fish all day: 3.5lbs and 2.5lbs. Both were keepers but man the bite was tough. I was beginning to think it was just me until everyone I talked to on the lake that day said it was slow.
Did anyone else fish Sunday?
I guess we got the cream first .
I fished again on Sunday and had 4 keepers. Talked to some guys at the ramp that had 7 keepers. It was slower than it had been earlier in the week. The whole entire lake isn't on fire but some spots are really loaded with good fish right now. Last week was the best fishing experience I have ever had on Rough - I had 6 fish over 3.5 lbs overall and two between 5-6 lbs.
They were really shallow the Sunday before last but seem to have been deeper as the week went on. I think that part of it is that you need to find structure like rock or stumps - they are pulling water hard and stumps that I fished last Sunday are 2-3 feet out of the water now. Some of the stuff I was fishing now just has a muck bottom to it and I wasn't getting any action there. Fish were being caught on all kinds of lures - caught them on crankbaits, spinnerbaits, brush hogs, tubes, and jigs. So basically, if you find any rock or stumps underwater, I would fish them with all of the above lures to find what they want. Keep moving until you find something special.
Hope it lasts.....I was wanting to head back this coming weekend.
Seen an open on rough this sunday, bumped it to the top of the tournament board.
Well someone above was right. Went back to Rough River yesterday and most of the places we caught all of those fish were out of water or had very little water on them. But we still managed a limit in about 2 hours with the biggest being 4 1/2 lbs. Not like Saturday but still better then usual. It took covering almost the whole lake but it seems the fish are moving and you have to hunt for the right banks. Caught the big fish on a spinnerbait but mostly on jigs.
