Charlie Strong is killing it today boys!

All LOI's are in that they were expecting, except one and they got an unexpected pick up who changed his mind from Miami to Louisville. As of right now ESPNU has this class ranked #20 in the country and still waiting to see if we can beat UK and Illinois out for TE Jon Davis, who is set to announce shortly. Also, QB Demarcus Smith will annouce friday and with bridgewater coming in, it looks as though he may go to Central Florida.

Man what a difference a year makes.

Strong will have this program back to where it was at the height of Petrino's tenure very soon. No I'm not popping off I really believe that. In less than two years from now, not many people will want to schedule an out of conference game with The Ville, mark it down. OH Mills it hurts so good, lmao..........It's all about getting the kids and then motivating them and it seems Charlie has got what it takes.

Hey Don with your ties to Florida, come on over and jump on the Cardinal caravan, we got some empty seats right now Bro....

    Mark,
I always liked what strong did with the gators and have been wishing him well. I like to see good things happen to people who work hard and are at the top of their profession. I have SEC football close to my heart (gators and dawgs) but love seeing an ex Gator do well.

Hopefully Smith will see the light that we need more than one QB. Injuries, grades, etc we need a star backup at not only this position but we need to be top notch at every position at least two deep.

That would rock. I always like it when there is a battle for the position. I am looking forward to next season.

I heard Matt Jones the other day talking about the talent being signed at both schools. He was trying to make it sound like Ky's class was better than Louisville's, lol. Have I mentioned how much I HATE that guy......

If Strong keeps that up, he won't be there for long!

At UK, we don't have that problem. Nobody's coming after Joker.

(and Matt Jones is absolutely hilarious!)

I dont think so. Charlie Strong will be staying for a while. I think he understands that building a dynasty and molding yound players is just as importanat as money. Maybe I am an optimist, but I have to believe there is SOMEBODY left in this sport that is in it for something other than the money, and Strong seems to be that kind of guy. He is here until he wins a Big East Championship minimum. And to be honest, for teh first time ever, I see a football coach capable of winning a national title with a school from teh bluegrass.

And this coming from a man who came out the vag wearing a UK jersey...

I thought it was a mistake to put Joker on as a head Coach. They should have used the past average years of UK ball and went after a proven head coach. Maybe a Mike Leach type of guy.

The sentimental crap about giving Joker his opportunity was a mistake. This isn't the 70's and noone really cares. It's about winning plain and simple.
