First trip to Reelfoot. Going in middle of June when kids are out of school. Figure mostly fish for gills and cats. Which end of lake probably be best this time of year? I'm guessing the lower end for deeper water? I know that Apr/May would be better, but schedule won't allow any sooner. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Reelfoot is good the first week of June, u can catch crappie and bluegills, we always catch a 100 to 200 hundred of gills and crappie combine in 2 to 3 days the first week or so in June at the lower end. Minnows and crickets are your best bet. Any little tree in the water along the banks is deadly, good luck
I may also be going down first week of June. Anyone have any luck on the North End that time of year? We've heard good things about Gray's Camp and are looking to stay there. Thanks for the help.
