    Monroe....

    Wow.....Monroe is 6 ft. and still rising! Once the water warms up a bit fishing in the flooded buckbrush should be fun!

    IMO the high water = good fishing.....more cover to fish and they will move shallow when the water warms up more. This is on the main lake side....on the "slow side" I like it to be normal pool....its usually muddy if its high. Although a few years back when the lake got 16 ft. high my dad and I smoked em for about two weeks on the slow side.....the fish were very scattered, but when you found clearer water you found one.....then you found a bunch with it!

    We were flippin picnic tables and campers on the south end of Kentucky lake last year. There were some stupid sacks brought in. I'll take flooded brush and timber any day.
