Where to bass fish near South Bend?

I will be up in the South Bend area in June. I am looking for a place to fish for bass for a few days. A state park with or close to lake access would be ideal. Thank you for any help.

The St. Joseph river is right in that area. Maggies landing is a good spot for largemouth and smallmouth bass. Don't know how much bank access there is if you don't have a boat though.
