im about to have a meltdown on the DMV. can anybody that has a mid nineties or so ranger, skeeter, cajun, etc style of boat look on their registration and see what 'class' they are being charged for? i have a cajun and a skeeter registration here and they are telling me the cajun is worth 8 times more than the skeeter and charging me for that. i try to tell them one is wrong, but it was like talking to a brick wall and ended up with lots of cussing and hanging up. and FYI, you cant even call the actual branch anymore.

I feel your pain. I don't understand why the DMV database is so inaccurate regarding boats.
well, i couldnt get the crackhead lady on the phone to understand my boat books for 2500 bucks after she told me it is worth 10,000.
Sell her your boat!!
I had a pop-up camping trailer years ago that the DMV valued at $45,000.00.I told her, "Lady, it's a little tent camper, not a Winnebago. But if you think it's worth $45,000.00, I'll gladly sell it to ya."
Anybody knows exactly how they calculated that tax? I paid way too much too.
Makes me happy I only have a jon boat. =))
It was horrible in the a bass boat today. Couldn't imagine being in my boat.
I need to fatten up my skinny ass, almost got blown off the boat twice today. My hat went airborne as I was walking down the dock. Two guys held up a line of peoples at the ramp as they were waist deep in 50* water trying to load their boat.
