Cedar Creek grass

I was thinking of going to cedar creek next week and was curious about the grass. What kind of grass is in the lake and where can you find it? I may look for some grass to fish but I don't want to waste my time if there isn't any now.

Last time I fished Cedar was 2 years ago in early april and i didn't see any substantial areas of grass or weedbeds at this time of year. Plenty of wood cover though.

Not much grass but quite a bit of moss around the cove here the old road runs thru..

Too early for grass. In the summer last year there was a ton of milfoil. Now it is all dead and kinda slimy.

Out of curiosity what parts of the lake has milfoil?

It is kind of hard to explain where it was at but there was tons of it and i only fished there twice last year but both times most came out of it. there is a large flat though that has it growing on it. it is somewhat close to the smaller dock on the lake.

I haven't been there in over a year. I was thinking of going this weekend. Is the lake still so crowded on weekends?

Not too many have been fishing this past cold, windy weather, but this coming week will be a different story. It will hard to get a parking space.
