No report but I plan on going on there in the morning. I hope we dont get too much rain tonight but Ill be sure to report anything if I do go.

It took a little over 11# to win a tournament there on Saturday. Big fish was 7.05#. The wind was so bad I couldn't hold my boat in some places so I had to look for more protected water.

No, a club tourney. I saw those guys in the pondhopper tournament. They were all in little tin boats.

well despite yesterday's bad weather I still went to Guist this morning.The water was around 50 when I got there and 53. I would say the water was stained to muddy. Unfortunately Im knew to lake fishin for bass and didnt catch any. Fortunately I also bought a dozen minners from the marina before setting out. I caught one small crappie while drifting a bobber and bass fishing. Right before I left I caught a nice 13 inch crappie off a deep diving crankbait. I pulled 3 more from the same spot of the minnows (2 more keepers). So I left there with 3 crappie and they made for a delicious dinner tonight. But I was dissapointed I didnt catch any bass. Ive never been a Jigger and tried it a little while with no luck. Oh well, thats how it goes sometimes.

Thanks for the report. I hope that water temp will skyrocket with the warm temps we are suppose to have this week. I am ready to catch some fish.
