    Nolin Tailwater Report

Fished Nolin tailwater Sunday. We caught 3 nice channel cats (18-23 inches)
& 1 12inch Ky. bass. Cats on chicken livers, bass on minnow. Current was medium-slow(200 CFS).Also fished under Broad Ford Bridge for the first time.
Water was clear & current fast.Hooked 1 small bass but he got off at the bank.
Friday we caught some cats & 1 nice hybrid at Taylorsville Tailwater, all on
livers. Hybrid was maybe 17 inches.I was hoping to get into a bunch of hybrids but it did not happen. Water was slow(maybe 100 CFS) & clear.
I hope someone will let us know when & where the white bass run starts.
    Good Luck,
    Kurt

White bass have made their run. Have been catching them as far up as White Mills. Launched at bacon Creek Sat. went 5 miles above Broad Ford hwy. bridge and caught 9 fat white bass. They were scattered. Also waters to clear maybe this rain will mirk the river up a little.

Went to Taylorsville saturday night down by the chowning ln ramp. We didnt catch anything at all. Not one bite. Had livers and night crawlers at many different depths, and nothing.
