Started fishing 10:00 am and fished to 6:00 pm. Long day with a lot of wind and very few fish. 4 bass none over 12' and 1 12' crappie. Water temps in the low 50's. Texas rigged plastic craws and jig & pig picked up the few bass we could catch. Fished with spinnerbaits, crankbaits with no luck. Went to the first cove down from the dam,i dont know the name of it but it has very high rock walls. We where hoping to get a break from the wind but no matter where you were you could not escape the wind. Water color was slightly stained to clear. Well thats all i got for that trip. Later jc

I put in at Wax Saturday and I caught just under 30 LM and my buddy caught 6. We caught them on a jig where we found a break from the wind and crank baits in the wind. The fish were biting like crazy but we never caught a single keeper. My buddy talked to some guys at the marina and they said they caught 60 LM the day before with no keepers? It was strange how no big fish bit that day for us. With that being said, it was still a great day of fishing.
