Is there a magic temperature when you bring out the spinnerbait? Mine was 63 degrees, but today changed my mind.
Went out this morning, water temp was 55. Started out with jig, but nothing. I fished it for two hours. Last week I caught two nice ones (4.2 and 2.6) on same lake in 50 degree water. I never had much luck with a spinnerbait with temp under 60, but tied one on today. Ended up with 4 keepers. Fish hit it, but it was subtle. I was surprised. In general, at water temps 58 and less, I fish a jig (minus float-n-fly), but today I learned they wouldn't hit that jig, but they wanted that bling!
