Unbelievable day 4/8

Man...what a day! The fish Gods smiled upon us today, must be because my b-day is tomorrow, haha! We hit up a 100acre watershed today, my f-in-law and me that is...and did we get into them! Didn't get hardly a sniff until we got to the SKINNY water up into the inlet to the lake, and then it was every cast! Chartreuse/gold sb's were the ticket, water was slightly tinged, temps in the 60's......it was just a good day to be alive and on the water! My f-in-law and I would double up and just look at each other with that "can you belive this!" look...haha! Nearly all the fish were solid keepers, with a 4.5lb kicker. Must have caught around 50 or so in four hours of fishing between the two of us. I will sleep well tonight! Other than my sore shoulder....nothing some Ibuprofen can fix!

Thanks guys...it was truly a trip to remember! We didn't take any cameras...we even left our cell phones in the truck because there was chances of thunderstorms all day, and didn't want to ruin anything. But...we did take a lot of mental pics, those kind last a lifetime!
