Flooding conditions on the Miss and Ohio Rivers are backing up and creating changes on other river systems. On the Cumberland, Cordell Hull and Old Hickory Dam are FULL. At LC/Wolf Creek, the COE are turning down/off the flow. Five day discharge forecast at Wolf Creek calls for 7.5 cfs on Wed, 7.5 on Thur, 3.8 on Fri, 0.0 on Sat and 0.0 on Sun.
Lake Cumberland currently at 710 Ft and will certainly be rising, especially with new rainfall in the forecast. I would expect the rising level to result in additional trash and debris in the lake, making boating/fishing hazardous and difficult. On the up side, the Cumberland River will be dropping and exposing the gravel bars, so I'm thinking about getting out the fly rod and doing some wading.

Drove over to Helms Landing this morning to check out conditions and found muddy water and washed out ramp. You would need a 4wheel drive and trailer with high axles to launch there. With that said, two boats launched off the gravel bar while I was there.
Only clear water I found was upstream from the mouth of Indian Creek. Indian outflow was muddy, but upstream toward the dam was resonably clear.
