Looking for a Green River Lake Report

Just need to know the conditions at the ramps and such. Is Ramp 1 open or under water, etc.?

Re: Looking for a Green River Lake Report

When the water level gets 10-12 feet above summer pool, ramp #1 becomes difficult to unload. When the water gets high enough the corps will close the gate and deny access to the ramp. I have not been to ramp #1 to varify conditions but I would "ASSUME" it is closed or unusable. 675 summer pool, on 4-30 the lake was 690.72...lake is almost 16ft over summer pool.

Lone Valley,Emerald Isle Marina and Butler creek ramp is your best choice for loading/unloading in high water.

I have not been to the lake since tuesday, but I did get a water report friday. Mid lake is clear in areas, even with all the rain from the last couple of weeks. There is some stained and muddy water, but from what I was told most of the lake has good/decent color.

We launched at the state park ramp. Ramp itself is under water. And the parking area at the ramp is partially flooded.

My partner and I had five that would probably have gone 13 - 14 pounds. Plus we caught a lot of short bass.
