I'd take five like that in every tournament I fished. Nice fish!

yeah, catching bass like that is a blast, but catch and release is where its at. Releasing big females like that keeps us and other bass fishermen happy. Those small lakes need their spawning fish. Take your photos, then let them go.

Yea, I am going to have to agree with all about bass. There is just no point of keeping big females like that unless you plan to put them on your wall. Catch em' ,take a pic, and put them back. Especially in those little lakes at the forestry. With that being said, congrats and those are two nice ones.

I agree, catch and release is a good thing. On the other hand ,they taste wonderful and should be enjoyed with tarter and rye bread. It's a myth that bass don't taste good. Tournament fisherman no doubt started this falsehood in order to drag them up the hill to be weighed then released to die next to the ramp .Just follow the lake regs and enjoy!Nice catch!

as long as you don't throw them right back in after a tournament they live just fine. you gotta get water goin throw their gills again. i stay back in the state marina at rough river and there is tons of tornaments that weigh in there and there are never bass floating. i'm catch and release all the way on largemouth unless they swallow the hook. a piture looks better than a mount any day. but all that aside nice catch.
