    Welcome back Mr. Jones

Terrance Jones is returning to UK for his sophomore season....Put him beside Davis and they'll clog the middle for the Cats....Like him or dislike him you have to respect him for realizing he wasn't NBA ready and coming back to school....Now let's hope Brandon Knight follows

Wow I haven't followed this as close as others but that is surprising news. Man UK has a bright future with him coming back. Gonna be interesting to see who else stays or goes.

I honestly think Liggins will come back and should....Knight is up the #5 projected pick so it'll be hard for him to stay....Anxious to hear for sure

I hope this brought Jones back down to earth a bit. He needs to work harder. I think Knight is gone for sure because I don't see his stock rising anymore than it is. You got to think Austin Rivers will be one and done at Duke so Knight may not be the first point guard taken next year. Liggins needs to come back. Could be another interesting season with the 4 highly touted incoming freshmen, Jones, Lamb, Miller and possibly Liggins

    Re: Welcome back Mr. Jones

Man, if Calipari starts keeping some of these one-and-dones longer than one season, all of the talking heads will have to come up with other reasons why he is ruining the game. You mean making it a players-first program geared at training kids for their future profession might make the most elite talent in the country want to come to UK, and stay more than one year if it makes sense for their career-prep and earnings potential? Who knew...

A lot of people say that the 1996 UK squad may have been the most talented group of kids ever assembled in the college game...well, next year's UK squad may challenge it.

    Davis
    Gilchrist
    Teague
    Wiltjer
    Lamb
    Jones
    Miller
    Maybe Liggins
    Poole
    Vargas
    Hood
    ?

Wow...look at how many potential NBA players there?

    Trivia Question:
How many NBA scouts will attend UK vs UNC at Rupp next season?

    Answer:
    All of them.

    Re: Welcome back Mr. Jones

I hope your right Splitshot but they got a lot to live up to against

    Dell
    Walker
    McCarty
    Anderson
    Mercer
    Sheppard
    Mohammad
    Procurer
    Turner
    Pope
    Epps
    Edwards

Because in 1996, the second 5 would have been a top 20 team by itself

Quick trivia questions about the 1996 team

Who on the 1996 Kentucky Wildcats team is still playing in the NBA? His team made the playoffs this year.

Another question. Who on the team once scored 50 points in an NBA game? A hint is he was not a regular starter but started in the place of an injured player and scored 53 points in a road game

    That is one answer

The other is Tony Delk. He was a backup for the Suns but started a game on the road against the Kings and scored 53 points.
