White Bass and Dix River

Went to Dix River for some White Bass fun.today. Put in at Bryants and went as far as I could go up in the river. I could hear cars going across the 52 bridge. Caught several whites and hybreds. Nothing really big, but had fun with some light tackle. I never caught a fish when I got to close Rankins Bottoms going back to the ramp. I had to get thru all the trees past Rankins Bottoms and get close to the 52 bridge to catch them. All fish where caught on a Green Rooster Tail.

Sounds like fun. If you enter the Dix from where it runs into KY river,How far upstream can you go can you get anywhere close to the dam? I mean under normal water levels.
