So, haven't had a chance to go fishing in a few weeks and was dying to go. Have today off with nothing to do so I was going to hook the boat up this morning and go. Woke up at 5:00 and got the boat hooked up, was planning on leaving the house around 6. Came in the house, ate a bite and watched the news - the weather showed strong storms approaching. I hate KY weather!!! Was gonna go at 6, it started thundering about 5:45 and the rain started at 6:00 exactly. Needless to say I'm still at home and won't be going today. And this is the only chance I'll have to get the boat out for a week or two to come. I hate KY weather - it's either raining and flooding, hot and humid as he**, or freezing cold. Nothing in-between, and if it's not doing any if those three things seems like the wind is blowing 30mph. Sorry, just had to vent!

It's not 7:00 yet and the rain has stopped looks like next round is coming around noon. I would go for it.

I wanted to take my Dad today but now I may wait a while and see what happens. We can always go tomorrow. But then they are calling for more of the same the rest of the week.

I hear ya on the vent brother. I hate this state's weather with every fiber in my being. I've been trying to get my wife to move for the last five years. Alot of available jobs in my field where I would want to go to and the weather is much more stable and predictable. Ohwell she ain't gonna move so I'm stuck in this Hell hole.
