Dams on the Ohio River, in the Louisville Area

Hello All,

Just wondering if there were any dams on the Ohio River in the Louisville Area, If so, where ? I'm not familiar with the Ohio in this part...

McAlpine Dam/Falls of the Ohio located in downtown Louisville. Easiest ramp access is immediately downstream on the Indiana side in New Albany and Clarksville.

Park where the green arrow is, then walk the little trail down to the water. Great fishing when the water is down low enough. White bass, drum, catfish, and sauger will all readily hit a white curly tail grub. A small topwater can work well too.

You can fish below the McAlpine dam on the louisville side. I dont know how to describe getting there, but you cross over the locks and theres a spot to park there. small hike then your at the dam.
