The hybrids and striped bass are on fire down there right now. Fished down by the observatory and slowly moved up with no luck at all. But once i was over by the wall of the dam, atleast as close as the shore would let me, the fish were practically jumping on my jigs and feather tails. Caught probably 10-15 a piece in an hour between me and my father. They werent monsters but probably 3-5 pounds was the average.

Thanks for the report. Sounds like lots of fun! I'm gonna try to make it down there this weekend. Morning or afternoon bite?

The water is still up a bit but is falling quite a bit. The bite was in the evening hours. Probably from 7-9. I was on the bank and it was pretty easy to fish once you find a spot free of trees to cast. The water will be settling down for summer pool here by the end of this month so good luck to you gus.
