    NHL Finals

I know not a lot of y'all care about hockey, but these have been some great games so far! The first one was 0-0 until 18 seconds left in regulation, then last night's game went to overtime with the score 2-2. Overtime was just too **** late for me, so I'm watching the replay now on the NHL Channel. The score hasn't been so tight for lack of offense; there have been a LOT of great saves by both goalies, a lot of great hits, just a ton of great action to watch. Since the Flyers are out, I'm kind of pulling for Boston, the team that swept them, to win it. But it would be the Vancouver Canuck's first Stanley Cup win in that franchise's 40-year history, and the first time in 25 years a Canadian team has won it, so if they do win it, I won't begrudge them their celebration.

    Hey Margie, where are you?

I hate the Bruins, so I am pulling for the Canucks.

Game 7 tonight in Vancouver. Home team has won every game so far, but the series has been great. Boston's goalie Tim Thomas has been stellar in every game, it just seems like Boston can't score in Vancouver, even though they've dominated at home, ever since Rome's cheap shot on Horton knocked him out of the series with a concussion, and got him suspended 4 games. Since that happened, and Luongo has been talking trash about Thomas (which is weird since Luongo has allowed over twice as many goals, and been pulled twice), I'm totally pulling for the Bruins. If you have any interest at all in hockey, don't miss it! Tonight at 8:00 on NBC.

At the end of the Second Period the Bruins are leading 3 to zip. Boston scored in the first Period and just scored their third goal in the game with a break away while the Canuncks were on the power play. Talk about letting the air out of your tires. Boston needs to hold on to a three goal lead to take the cup tonight.

I've seen the Canunks come back from 3 down before so don't count them out yet. This game has a entire third period to play and anything can happen.
