    Mark and Don, I believe it concerns me more that this guy did two years for carrying a gun, all because it is New York City!

    When in rome you know what to do. I'm also a gun owner, but if its going to cost me lawyer fees, fines,and possibly jail time, I'll forget my second ammendment rights and follow the local law. Every bank has a notice at the door about firearms. If I choose to go against that law, will the NRA post my7 bail, and help with fees to up hold my rights, dont hold your breath. This guy is a convicted felon. he did his time, if an NFL team picks him up, fine at least he will be holding a job and paying taxes. If not then in all probability the tax payers of what ever state he lives in will cloth and feed him.

    He only did 8 or 10 months, I think? I have no problem with him carrying a gun, I LOVE guns and everything about gun rights. However he was only carrying one to be a gangbanging thug. He's all about that Hip Hop gangsta crap. Also he was so stupid he didn't even learn how to use the dang thing and did a Barney Fife, lol. Why do Hip Hoppers hold guns sideways, does that make you cool...

    My guess is he was probably carrying one for the EXACT same reason you and I would carry one, just that he is more of a target.

    I heard yesterday on ESPN it was either 20 or 22 months....was he a convicted felon before the gun incident?
