Nothing like loading the trailer in the middle of the day, in 9 million degree heat.
Must be GLOBAL WARMING![]()
.
Leaving in a few hours..........and like usual, I have WAY too much CRAP going with me this time........WAY TOO MUCH.
Later,
Geo
I will trade you. I have 5 yards to mow tomorrow and 5 more to mow Saturday.
It was a hot one today for sure. I spent 10 hours wading Otter Creek and it sure was miserable!![]()
It was 101 degrees at my house yesterday....and it's not officially summer yet. Usually July and August are the hottest months here. The State has issued a 'burn ban' for everything but cigarettes. lol
We have been blessed with 3 pop-up thunderstorms this week and our grass is still green and growing.
I overheard a couple of men talking Monday and they said the Tombigbee River is on fire with bass and catfish grabbing everything that hits the water. They're catching lots of 5-7# largemouth bass.
Just my luck, I'm still too beaten up from the wreck to do any fishing.
I can't comment, I've never been there. Can you bring me a brochure when you get back?
Man I remember that trailer loading stuff. The wife would shop for weeks and start packing a couple of days before it was time to leave. No matter how many times I told her that they have grocery stores on the gulf, it was talking to a tree. Even went as far as starting to weigh things on paper and compare it to gross recommended road weight. That almost led to a divorce. So just followed her advice "shut up and drive". But we always had reservations, always had computer printed maps,it was choreographed. And on the way back home, the next trip was already being planned.
