No idea on the night bite. But, the ledges - absolutely. Fished the Triton Owners Tourney last week and they were stacked up on the ledges. You can catch 50-60 a day out there. It's just finding the right ledges with the big ones on it.... Both ledges at the mouths of the bays and river channel ledges were good for us.
we did pretty good this time last year throwing a spinnerbait at night. mostly small fish but still fun.
The ledge bite is not right yet. If you find the right ledge at the right time yes. It is about a week or two away. There are fish from the main lake to the backs of the bays. Just a little too spread out to be a great ledge bite but it is getting better everyday. I went to my honey hole ledges for 3 straight days and caught 1 fish. When they aren't pulling current it can be tough, fish SLOW. My 3 biggest fish came when I put my rod down to answer the phone. Many of the anglers in the Triton tournament struggled and in fact didn't even fish the second day. If you find the right ledge, sure it is good but not were it should be. The night bite is awesome right now. You can throw about anything but we have been doing best with texas rig soft plastics. This week the first few hours of the day was the best ledge bite. They didn't pull water this week like they did last week either. Good luck
