    Lake "E" Water level

    Anybody know why Ky American is pulling thewater so far down at Ellerslie and Jacobson park?

    Answered my own question. Called KAWC and they said they were using it for water through the spring up until this past Monday.
    If anyone was interested....
    Lakes should fill back up depending on rain fall..

    I don't know why, but I assumed that when the lakes were low that they pumped water from the KY river into the lakes in Lexington and fill them up, probably not the way it happens, but that is what I thought. oh caught one over 5 last Friday on a buzz bate,,,,, :-)

    They do - the pipeline runs thru my front yard. They may let the lake draw down a little but the could probably fill it up pretty fast if they wanted to. I'm surprised they still use the Rich Rd plant now that the one if Frankfort in online

    thanks hooksetter, now that I think about it if they have the ability to pump the water in from the river they would not have to depend on rain fall for Lexington drinking water.
