Herrington Lake

Was wanting to try fishing this lake for hybrid stripers, but I never been ther and do not know much about the lake. I also wanted to find a lake little closer to NKY. Does anybody know anything about this lake or another lake that has good numbers of hybrid bass. Also was wondering if there were any guide services. Any help would be appreciated.

Hybrids and whites (I struggle to tell the difference) are beginning to school early and late. They can be caught using a pet spoon on a short leader behind a casting cork or large top water plug - you must find the schools breaking and cast into them They can also be caught on a spoon trolled behind a crankbait again on a leader, also known as the poor mans down rigger. Bass are in there night time pattern. Some small ones are being caught early and late on plastics.
