i dont live very near veterans park, but i have fished there and only caught small bluegill and very small smallmouth bass. any ideas? no one ive talked to know much about this creek at all.

when i lived in lexington i would fish there and out at jacobson -> had to wet a line somewhere before i had a boat. caught a lot of smaller bluegill and bass on 2 in tubes. not real big but better than sitting at home. yes easing up the bank and keeping a low profile does help! good luck and thanks for jarring my memory back to simpler times.
