You are terribly misguided. The tea party is the best thing that could happen to politics in America. The voice of the people have been muffled too long. The Obama administration is tearing the U.S. economy apart at the seams through his failed policies. These policies will lead to more dependence on government through more give away programs and the collapse of our economy. If raising the debt ceiling will solve the spending problem, why don't we raise the B.A.C. for drunk driving to reduce the drunk driving rate?
