Alright, my wish came true, Ocho traded to a team that already has the number 85 taken now that fool will have to change his name again.
Good for him he is probably going to tear it up playing with Brady and the Pats.

Johnathan Joesph (the best DB they have had in years) is gone to the Texans

Adam Jones was arrested again a few weeks ago, never heard if that was strike 3 and out for his NFL career. Stupid idiot got into with cops at a bar,,,good gosh. All that talent and money down the pooper because he is too caught up in being a thug. Stupid drone, I bet he watches MTV, BET and wants to be a rapper.

On positive note: says they picked up a good linebacker from the Raiders.
Simpson,Caldwell, Green, Shipley, and Gresham, still got very good receivers. Now they need a darn good fullback and a couple tailbacks.
If Dalton can play decent and just manage the game without screwing up, this team should surprise a lot of people. The defense is still mostly intact and they were a awesome squad last season.

Yep but Hernandez will cave in and let him have it. It might take some money but I'm sure he will change his number.

I will say I'm not a huge Brady fan but I will say this. He won't cater to that ridiculous ego of Johnson's and will flat run his candy ass off if he doesn't conform to his ways. That's Brady's team, it won't be the Chad Johnson show that I GUARANTEE!

The BUNGALS need to trade the OWNER. Brown is a joke. With teams starving for a decent Quarterback and Brown says he will let Palmer retire before trading him????? What next, bring in 2 over-hyped wide receivers that care more about themselves than the team, MY MISTAKE, he already tried that with the TOcho Show and it got CANCELLED barely after the pilot. Maybe Boomer can still throw a few to Collinsworth and Anthony Munoz will block for them. BUNGALS AND BROWN = LAUGHING STOCK OF THE NFL

Mike Brown is super old school.
If Carson wouldn't have come out publicly and demanded a trade and instead done it behind closed doors face to face like a man he probably would have already been traded. Doing it on tv and then running away to California was just a really bad decision and pretty immature on Carson's part IMO,
Mike Brown is trying to prove a point, IMO, that point is basically that players cannot dictate to owners how they are going to run their business.

Maybe Carson is on the trading block, for all we know. Anything less than a decent tailback or 2nd round pick, I'd let him sit at home too.

I would like to see someone dictate to Mike Brown the point that he doesn't know how to run his business! Mike Brown is the worst owner, not just in football, but in all of professional sports. The guy that owns the NBA's Clippers makes fun of Mike Brown.

And Bob you are right about the offense putting the D in bad field position. Why they went away from what worked the year before is beyond me. The year they won the division they used the run game to smash the ball and run the clock. The defense was stellar creating a ridiculous amount of turnovers because they were put in good situations. Last season they went to trying to have Carson (who is not the same player he once was) heave the ball down field. To say it didn't work is a huge understatement.

Lets see, Mike Brown took over for his Dad in 1991.

I know lets hire Dave Shula, 19-52 record, NO POST SEASON
Ok, lets hire Bruce Coslet, 21-39 record, NO POST SEASON
Ok, lets hire **** Lebeau, 12-33 record, NO POST SEASON
Ok, lets hire Marvin Lewis, 60-69 record, 0-1 in Post Season in 2006

112-193 record and 0-1 in post season in 20 years as an Owner, averaging 5.5 wins per season in the NFL.

4 coaches, 1 post season game and that was a loss in 2006. If this is OLD SCHOOL then somebody bring in the NEW SCHOOL!!!! Mike Brown, Marge Schott, Cincinnati Pathetic Professional Owners of Sports Teams. Marvin Lewis should have been fired a couple of years ago, ESPECIALLY after last seasons performance. Now Mike "Old School I am going to prove a point" Brown has a chance to trade a disgruntled QB, who has every right to be pissed off at an Owner who is completely as incompetent as the Head Coach. Palmer is wasting prime years of his career on a franchise that has NO FUTURE. I would demand a trade. Even nutcase Al Davis is a better owner than Mike Brown and that is saying a lot

Elwood, your stats are wrong on Marvin Lewis, he has two division titles which led to two playoff appearances. I don't lay the blame at all on Marvin because of what he has had to deal with since he has been there. They need to let him be GM too and then I bet things wouldn't be so crazy in the front office. IMO Marvin Lewis might be one of the best coaches in the NFL. I mean, if you can take the Benglas to the playoffs twice in four years, just imagine what you could do with an NFL team.

    Edited to add:

Marge Schott was the owner when the Reds last won the World Series.
