Barren river lake

This will be my first trip to this lake bass fishing,could anyone help me out with whats working.Im not fishing a tournement.Any help would be appreciated.Thanks.

The bite is getting tougher by the day. The **** was shut off Thursday since the lake has finally hit summer pool. I suspect the fish to really start scattering. Crankbaits had been working early in the morning for me but it was hit or miss. One day they would eat it up, then the next they wouldnt. Big worms and big jigs as well. Stick to the typicall summer time patters. Last night in the Big bass classic alot of fish were being caught deep. We had to "fizz" 60% of the fish that were brought to the scales. Most guys were saying the 15-20ft range.
