Sounds like a place I need to be.

Having days off during the week pays off sometimes . Fished a warrick pit this morning early friday Aug. 5th , finally had some weather move in with westerly winds and clouds . Water temps in morning were 86dg { 91dg yesterday evening } and fish were moving around . Caught 24 keeper bluegill and scads of smaller ones on chunks of nightcrawlers fished 2-3 ft deep on the outside edge of certain weedbeds also under trees with bagworm nests in them . My brother & his buddy fished Bluegrass , caught four bass 16-18" and they had one 20" bass plus a bonus 16" crappie that hit a crankbait . Seems the fish are happy to see the weather change too !
Sounds like a place I need to be.
Congrats on a great day. And, by brother-inlaw told me there were no fish in the Bluegrass.![]()
