Rough River Report

Well fishing was good this weekend too, maybe even a little better than last. Still catching Large Mouth on top water early and late. Mainly on points and in jumps. Did anyone else fish Rough this weekend?

Yep sure did. Caught a lot on topwaters early in the morning and a few in the evening.

I had a decent weekend as well. Caught several nice hybrids and bass trolling pet spoons behind crank baits on points all around Axtel. There were plenty of jumps in the area both mornings. One of the fishes belly was full of 1 1/2 inch shad. Also kept the kids busy catching bluegill around the Axtel campground area.
