Lower Douglas lake on Ft Knox

Caught a mess Of good eater bluegills. Was fishing out of a canoe and really needto rig up an anchor on that thing as I was getting blown all over theplace. Bass started popping the surface around 8pm. But I couldn't stay for that fun. On the way home, saw a huge ass buck. Sept 3

my dad retired from the army we were stationed there lower douglas is were i figured out how much i liked to fish many years ago.

Can anyone get out there to fish or is it strictly for military personel?

Civilians are allowed out there, you just have to get a base pass and do a bacckground check i think. The number to the hunt control office is (502) 624-7311 or 2712. they can give you firmer answers.
