    Fishing tree tops

Whats a good technique or tips on fishing submerged trees with the tops sticking out--lakes like Cedar Creek, etc. I fish a few lakes like this mostly flipping a tube into them or a weighted worm around them....when they are in 20'+ of water though it seems tough to let a worm sit down that far and when using tubes or spinnerbaits in the branches seem to constantly be trolling around getting unstuck.
Par for the course? Just curious what some of you do 'cause I see a lot you in the middle of some of these lakes flipping something into or around them and I know with this hot weather bass hang out there or so I've been told......
    Thanks
