Still good people around

My faith in my fellow human was restored. I was wanting to take my 16 year old striper fishing this weekend on LC. I PM a person on this forum that seemed quite knowledable on the subject. Not only did he answer every question, gave me more info than asked for ( some of his spots), and his phone number. I called him; he even invited to take me and my son fishing. A complete stranger and his son. Wow - I'm sure he is not the only one on this board that would do it. So with all the discussion on people getting cuttoff, idot pleasure boaters and jet skiers. There are still good people out there. I would mention who it is, I'm sure I would just embarass him. Thanks to all of you out there. Your a wealth of knowledge and an ocassional good laugh.

Better get out early as this is the last Hoorah for the crazy boaters. I am going myself for a bit Fri and maybe sat. We will be jigging the schools of Sripers that are hanging in the shallows. There are a few schools in jumps but are small fish. Good Luck and Safe fishing.

Speaking of "still good people around"...I was pleasantly surprised by a gentlemen at the CRL dam ramp the other morning. Everyone who knows that ramp knows that it is a frickin mile long walk up that thing! I had a guy stop after putting his boat in the water and tell me to jump in for a ride up the ramp....I was like, "shoot ya!"...just a small thing, but I appreciated it.
