Went last Saturday night after a 95 degree day. Put in at Wisdom Dock. Ran all the way to the mouth of Sulfur Creek and hit several spots all the way back to Wolf River area. Fished a jig and shaky head 6 hours. Caught 3, 1 keeper that weighed 3 1/2lbs. Bad slow for the hollar!! I'd say it'll pick up after the cool temps and cool rain this week.
Wasnt bass fishing but in Fannys water temp wed. was 79. more stain in the back, lake is risn a little....temp fell 6 degrees in that many days
with the cloud cover we have & will have you have it all going for you

Rick and those curious, Wisdom Marina is having my band play Sat night for their annual houseboat owners Turkey Fry. It'll be a good time if you wanna stop by. They mentioned having it out on the lake so poke around and you might come across 40 houseboats with live rock and roll. Stop and say hi. Seeeee ya round!
Fished all day Sunday, Sunday night, and Monday morning. NO SMALLIES. Bunch of Kentucky's. They must be really deep. Side note. The band played on the front of a 18x88 houseboat cruising down the lake at 10:30 sat night. What an experience.
That a first for me, i heard them to, sounds like they were having a good time. the way the fish were bitting should have joined them.
Same thing on Saturday night of Labor Day weekend, a group of probably 12-15 houseboats were beached up across from Lillydale. A live band played on top of one of the houseboats, there was a big crowd gettin down. These people were sh*t hammered. We trolled kinda close around midnight and really wanted to join them but the elusive bronzeback kept us moving. Maybe next year.
This party went all day and finished with us on the front of a big 18x88 jamming cruising down the lake....with a marina dock hand designated driver. The fishing wasn't cooperating so why not play to the moon.
Went out for two hours last Saturday night caught 1 smallie about 2lbs and a KY that went about 3 lbs. Fished hair jig on main lake points.
