    Lakeway Basshunters Open Tournament

    Lakeway Basshunters is having there annual open tournament Saturday November 5. Times r from 7:00 am or safe light to 2:00 pm. The sign in starts at5:30 am at the state park ramp at Taylorsville Lake. The cost is $50.00 per boat and $10.00 big fish pot. It is 80%the payback and 100% payback on big fish side pot. U can fish as a team or by yourself. Thus is a five fish limit. If any questions email me at [email protected]

    What if we cant get there until 7....Can we still get in, I know safelite isnt until about 7:20

    If it is not foggy we will let them go by 7 am. If foggy there should be someone still on the ramp to sign u in yes

    how has the fishing been. I know about 2 weeks ago it was TOUGH...?

    It's still tough. At least it was for us yesterday anyways. The water is tea colored right now due to all the leaves. We won the classic yesterday with the only keeper we had. We only caught 4 fish total. Although there were several 3 pounders weighed I'm not sure how many total fish were weighed in. When the Monday morning results are posted, that should tell you how tough it is.

    I think it was 6.59 not certian there were 17 boats only 6 had fish we had one but not in the money

    We had 17 boats there
    First Place had 2 fish that weighted 4.91 with a big fish at 2.65
    Second place had two fish at 4.30
    third place had two fish that weighted 4.29
    we had 6 boats that had fish and 12 fish weighted in
    First place paid back $420.00
    Second place paid back $200.00
    third place paid back $60.00
    big fish was $170.00
