We where at the Barren Bassmaters Classic Saturday left our trailer and went out when we came back we found out someone had borrowed our spare tire off the trailer Like I said I hope they realy needed it well I guess it takes all kinds some people had rather steal than work and earn something on there on. Just in case someone saw anything we where parked in lower in end of lot white Triton trailer behind a gray Ford. We still had a great time

I agree, that and a liar.

What a shame that you can't go to the lake without worry about theft. You would think people that enjoyed the outdoors and were at the lake would have more respect for others property.

    What ramp were you at.

I doubt it was anyone that actually had a boat or cared about being at the lake. Boat ramps are prime targets for theft. Always makes me nervous when I'm launching and there are bank fishermen around the ramp...especially those that look kind of questionable...

At least your catalytic converter was still on your vehicle, have heard lots of stories about thieves cleaning out a boat ramp parking lot.

do you want the cable and master pad lock that came off his?with the right tools, most are readily available at lowes etc, cables and locking lugnuts are no problem.i have a pair of cutters i can cut a piece of 1\4 cable like a clotheshanger, and the set of rounded nut, bolt removers i have, can get a locking lugnut off like regular lugnut.locks and cables just look good, does not keep a thirf from taking anything.

I bought a lock for my spare, cost me about $7. I keep everything locked, granted it only keeps an honest person out. I always locky my trailer tongue as well. I have heard stories of people coming back to the ramp without a trailer!
