Took boat out this morning in wicked cold, she fired rt up and ran for awhile with no problems. Stopped and fished for an hr or so. Tried to restart, no luck. Has done this a few times, cannot understand why. Any help would be appreciated. The motor is a two stroke 94 ten hp johnson. Cant figure out why it will not start back up.

I have done this. However the ball doesnt get really tight, but its always been that way.
Does that motor have a kill switch on the end of the tiller handle. That could be the problem if it does
It has a kill switch on control box, its remote start. I thought that as well, but i check it everytime and its connected. Its really frustrating hahaha. Just cant figure it out.
you need to check for spark when it wont start
Thx. I will try to do that. Im not real mechanically inclined haha.
I had the same sort of problem on one of the boats I owned b 4...I had to replace the entire primer bulb line...Replaced the piece and never had another problem starting.
Sometimes the one way check valve in the primer bulb can come loose and this will block the fuel flow to the motor
