ESPN had a similar take. And I agree with it 100%. As for Paterno, he should be a reminder to all of us that it only takes one lapse of integrity to destroy a legacy.

This is the most unrestrained report I have read regarding the mess at Penn State.
It is written by Jon Solomon, a columnist for The Birmingham News, and he holds nothing back. It's hard to read the article and not become angry.

Yep he is telling it like it is. If you havent read the Grand Jury report yet then get ready to become REALLY angry!!! Anyone involved in this needs to be punished. My fear is that as this unfolds more kids and familys are going to be exposed in this tragedy. Who knows how many kids that sicko abused. This is the most unrestrained report I have read regarding the mess at Penn State.

Most people agree that in college sports its all about winning and money. This Penn State junk is a perfect example of how people who could have stopped a sexual predator decided to look the other way because Penn State rakes in 50 million a year (figure I heard on TV) from this program. That alone should be grounds to gut that program and criminally punish anyone involved.
The more I hear and read the more I want to see these guys punished to the highest order.
They are losing recruits already and who knows what will happen through the NCAA.
