Finally got my boat out after it sat for nearly a year. Its been a tough year. Lost my fishing partner to pancreatic cancer, then lost my Dad in July to lung cancer. I did the eulogies for both services. Got to Nolin around 9:30 this morning. Boat started and ran great, never missed a beat. Caught 8 keepers in less than 3 hours. Had to leave due to an appointment. The best 5 would go better than 15 lbs. 4.5 lber anchor the bag. Nice day just too short. All came on crawfish pattern crankbait. On deep rocky banks.
Sorry for the loss of your friend and father. Glad you had a good day fishing. Doesn't make up for the loss; but fishing sure is an anecdote for what is ailing your heart or troubling your mind. Cathing 8 keepers I am sure helps a lot too.
