Shiners at lake Cumberland

Does the store on the left going to the dam still sell shiners?

Yeah I bought some there this past weekend...Thinking about heading out there to do some minnow fishing Sunday myself....If you go, could you please report back on the water conditions...Don't wanna make the drive if the lakes really muddy

If you don't mind me asking, how deep did you catch the fish on the points?

It varied....we'd catch one fish in 7-8ft and the next one in 30....Just had to make sure we worked them thoroughly

We fished yesterday and the water was clear on the lower end. Put in at the dam and fished main lake points and secondary points. Only caught 1 smallmouth. Fished shiners 10 to 35 foot deep all day.
